I've read the other two reviews and apparently my experience was MUCH different. We called Hart Plumbing when we began to remodel our bathroom and add new plumbing to an existing room. The staff in the office was friendly and accommodating. Terry was the technician that came to my home and he had a wonderful "can-do" attitude. We had a free standing tub that required some creative plumbing and he worked very well with my contractor to find a solution that made sense to all of us. Their billing was honest and the team was repectful and thorough. Being fairly new to the area, I'm glad I found them.

On the coldest day so far my furnace decided to stop working. When the inside of my house got to 48 degrees it was time to call for help. Even though Hart Plumbing and Heating were not taking new customers they agreed to help me out. I was called when they were on their way. Adam immediately knew what the problem was and fixed it. I do not recall the dispatchers name but he could not have been nicer on the phone. I highly recommend Hart as they were courteous, prompt, and did a great job. Thank you very much!

On Saturday 12/17 at 4:30 in the morning we had a pipe burst with our heating system. It flooded 2 bedrooms and our basement - total nightmare. I made 3 calls to other businesses (no answer or call back) before calling Hart. Within 5 mins my call was returned. Jeri, the kind lady answering the phone, gathered a little information and said she would make a call and call me back with a plan. She called back in less than 10 mins and had a Tech on the way. Knowing the situation she also recommended a restoration crew (Insurcomm) that works with all insurance companies for issues like this and she had them call me almost immediately. Both crews were here in less than an hour. I can't stress enough how fantastic the service was from both teams. It was very cold (single digits) and Hart had our heat/pipe issue resolved in just over an hour. During testing the Tech noticed our thermostat was off by nearly 8 degrees which helped to contribute to the issue. They were fast, knowledgeable, fair in pricing, thorough, patient in sharing information and have outstanding customer service. They've been in business 30+ years and it's obvious why they have an A+ rating. Though there are 2 complaints listed I think those customers were a bit out of line based on how Hart handled the issues. Point being - look at the track record and base it on that. I'll be calling Hart for all my needs. I hope this review helps you in decision making.

I own a small business in Portsmouth, in a larger leasehold with a number of tenants. As most commercial tenants know, HVAC and plumbing is an absolute terror, and you're often between a rock and a hard place with the landlord and the contractor. Hart has been a GODSEND. I can't imagine using any other company for our mechanical or plumbing needs, and as our "small" company becomes a larger one, we plan on bringing Hart along for the ride. Kevin, Geri and the entire team at Hart are respectful, patient and empathetic. Not to mention they actually KNOW what they are doing. I can't recommend them strongly enough. This afternoon I noticed a pipe leaking in my basement and panicked for a moment realizing the source was probably behind my drywall upstairs. Not knowing a plumber myself, I asked my friends on Facebook for referrals. I received dozens of referrals for Hart Plumbing and one of my friends texted me the owner Kevin Hart�s cell phone. Kevin answered my call and within 30 minutes one of his technicians Terry was at my house. Terry was awesome! He quickly identified the problem and replaced the leaking pipe in less than an hour. He took the time to explain what happened and how he fixed it but more importantly he managed to fix it without breaking through walls. Hart plumbing just earned a customer for life! Excellent service and I will be referring them whenever I have the opportunity.

We had two small jobs. They could not give us an appointment within a reasonable period of time but put us on a call list. One week later they called with an opening, came when they said they would, were on time and charged me an appropriate fee. All professionally handled. Would definitely recommend.

Fast service and fair pricing! When I found nearly 100 gallons of warm water in my basement last week, I immediately called the (big name, local) company on my water heater and was told it would be 2 days before they could send someone out. I then called my (local) oil company that I have used for the past 11 years, left a message and 2 hours later, hadn't heard from them. My wife saw a Hart truck on her way to work and suggested I call them. I spoke with Brianna and Geri who were both very helpful and within 2 hours, 2 technicians showed up at my house, about 18 miles away from their office. In another hour my problem was diagnosed, repaired and explained to me. What a relief! The price was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly they took care of me. My only concern was that the techs didn't provide any estimate for the repairs and the office didn't know how much it was going to be when I called to inquire later that day. In 4 days the bill arrived and was a few dollars less than what I guessed would be the lowest amount. Thank you Briana, Geri, Adam and Hunter!

I called Hart on 8/1/19 after our A/C broke down. As we are a Florist and Gift shop in North Hampton with 3 massive coolers that throw off extreme heat, we were in trouble. Hart was here within a couple hours and our system that was ancient had serious issues. They said they would do everything possible to help us out and returned on 8/2/19 and had us up and running asap. As we had a few thousand dollars in wedding flowers being delivered and this was a life saver for our business. I will use Hart again for our Plumbing & Heating needs. The two technicians were extremely helpful and polite, it was a very professional company

I received this message today...Shout out to Hart Plumbing and heating... The poor guy was here for about 4 hours trying to get our VERY old furnace going... So old they don't make parts for it anymore _. Just as we were about to call it quits he got it going again. We know that it's time to bite the bullet and get a new one, but grateful he was able to get it going so we don't freeze and can take a shower..
